In the glass
This is Elijah Craig Barrel Proof, batch C924, bottled uncut and unfiltered at 129.0 proof after 11 years in oak. Expect a big, rich pour of caramel, dark fruit and toasted oak that opens up fast with a few drops of water. Batches are released only three times a year, so this one is worth putting on the top shelf rather than saving for a mixer.
