Hand distilled and bottled in Colorado Springs from a rye malt mash, then finished with toasted aspen staves for a distinctly Rocky Mountain character. At 64.2 percent alcohol this is uncut barrel proof from a single barrel, so expect big spice, dark fruit and a long warm finish. A few drops of water open it up without losing the backbone. The label is hand written and numbered, which makes it a sharp gift or shelf centerpiece.
