Tapatio Añejo is a 100 percent agave tequila from Arandas in the Jalisco highlands, bottled at 40 percent ABV. Barrel time gives it a soft gold color and a rounder, cooked agave and light oak character without burying the agave. This is a bottle for sipping neat in a small glass, though it holds up fine in an old fashioned style drink. A well-known highlands distillery that tequila fans tend to seek out by name.
