In the glass
Solerno is made with Sicilian blood oranges, the Arancia Rossa di Sicilia IGP, and it tastes like it: bright citrus with a touch of bitter peel behind the sweetness. At 40 percent ABV it has enough backbone to hold up in a margarita, a spritz, or a riff on a sidecar. The heavy decanter-style bottle looks good enough to leave out on the bar cart.
