Roku is a Japanese craft gin built on six native botanicals, including sakura flower, yuzu peel and sencha tea, layered over the usual juniper backbone. It pours soft and floral with a citrus lift, so it shines in a simple gin and tonic with fresh ginger. The embossed bottle with its hand-applied washi paper label looks good enough to leave out on the bar cart.
