French absinthe distilled with grande wormwood, green anise, sweet fennel, hyssop and Roman wormwood, in the tall embossed green bottle marked Imported from France. Pour an ounce or so over a slotted spoon and drip cold water in slowly to watch it turn cloudy and open up the anise and herbs. A good bottle for classic cocktails like the Sazerac or a Death in the Afternoon, and it keeps well on the shelf.
