An Italian aperitivo liqueur built around bergamot citrus, bottled at 20% alcohol in a distinctive ribbed green bottle. It pours bright and floral, with a bitter-sweet citrus edge that lifts a glass of prosecco or a gin spritz. Pour an ounce or two over ice, top with bubbles, add an olive or a lemon twist and you have a classic Italicus Spritz. A good bottle to keep on the bar cart when you want something lighter than a cocktail but more interesting than wine.
