A blanco from the Camarena family, four generations of distillers since 1937, fermented in wooden vats and bottled at 45 percent ABV. Earthy, vegetal and bright, with enough backbone to sip neat or carry a serious margarita. The shelf tag credits it with 95 points, and agave drinkers tend to buy it by the case. Ask for it if you want a blanco with real character rather than a soft crowd-pleaser.
