This is El Tesoro's añejo finished in Yamazaki Japanese whisky casks, Edition No. 004 of the Mundial Collection. It is 100% agave, tahona crushed the old way, so you get the classic cooked agave and pepper backbone with a softer, oaky, slightly fruity edge from the Japanese casks. Pour it neat in a glass and take your time with it. A good bottle to set aside for someone who already knows their tequila.
