This is the V.E.P. bottling of Green Chartreuse, aged exceptionally long in oak by the Carthusian monks and sold in its engraved wooden case. It carries the same 130-herb recipe as the standard green, but deeper and rounder, with a long spiced finish. Pour it neat after dinner or use a small measure to lift a Last Word.
