A classic Brunello from Altesino, made from 100% Sangiovese grown in Montalcino and aged to the DOCG standard. Expect dried cherry, leather and tobacco with firm tannins and a long finish. Pull the cork an hour early and pour it with steak, braises or aged pecorino. It also has the structure to sit in the cellar for another decade.
